Has anything got 100% on rotten tomatoes? ›

100 Movies lists, but there are many others and several entries with dozens of positive reviews, which are considered surprising to some experts. To date, Leave No Trace holds the site's record, with a rating of 100% and 252 positive reviews.

If 60% of reviews are positive, the movie is given a “Fresh” status, but if positive reviews fall below that benchmark, it is deemed “Rotten.” A popular piece of media will typically fall between the 70-90% range, but rarely, a project will receive a 100% score. This means every last review from critics was positive.

However, the film reveals that Alex was not involved in the actual kidnapping of the girls, he was only present due to living in the same house as Holly. Alex was also a victim and his trauma and mental disabilities put him on the wrong side of a grieving father.

Later, Keller, Grace, and Ralph rush to the hospital after learning Joy was found but not Anna. When Keller tried asking Joy where Anna was, she said to him 'you were there'. Keller realizes that it was Holly Jones who kidnapped his daughter, not Alex.

Alex wasn't the kidnapper/serial killer; he only took the girls for a joyride. As Holly later explains to Keller, "I was the one who decided they should stay." The girls didn't cry until Alex left them because they weren't kidnapped until after Alex left them.

Is there a part 2 to Prisoners? ›

Unfortunately, for those hoping that the ambiguous ending leaves room for Prisoners 2, a sequel would be even more damaging to what the original movie achieved. The ending is meant to be unanswered even if the alternate ending suggests Prisoners has the happy ending fans were hoping for.

Other recent series with multiple seasons in the 100% club: The Good Place, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, One Day at a Time, Veep, Fleabag, Jane the Virgin, and Feel Good. Only Murders in the Building season 1 has the most reviews on its perfect 100% score.
