Membership in the JCPenney Rewards program ("Program") is open to individuals who are residents of the 50 United States or Puerto Rico, and who are 18 years of age or older. JCPenney Credit Cardmembers or JCPenney Mastercard Cardmembers who meet those criteria are automatically enrolled in the Program. Also, if you create a jcp.com account or download the JCPenney app on or after July 11, 2017 and meet Program membership requirements, you will be automatically enrolled in the Program.

Program membership is not available to corporations, businesses, non-profit organizations, partnerships, governmental agencies, or any other entity, unless written approval is received in advance from JCPenney. Resellers are expressly excluded from the Program.

Joining is easy! Just enroll at a JCPenney store with an associate at checkout, at www.jcp.com/rewards or via the JCPenney mobile application with your name, phone number and email address. Also, if you create a jcp.com account or download the JCPenney app and meet Program membership requirements, you will be automatically enrolled in the Program. To sign up in store, tell any sales associate you would like to join Rewards. You will be asked to provide your name, phone number and email address; we can't sign you up without them.

If you're a JCPenney Credit Cardmember or a JCPenney Mastercard Cardmember who meets Program membership requirements, you're automatically a member of the Program. To receive your $10 JCPenney Rewards faster, check your points history online and receive other benefits, link your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney Mastercard to your jcp.com account. Sign in to jcp.com/rewards and follow the instructions for linking.

We will use the phone number or email address linked to your jcp.com/rewards account to assign CashPass points you earn on your qualifying purchases. Your email address also serves as your username on jcp.com/rewards so that you can view your points history and access your $10 JCPenney CashPass Rewards online.

From time to time, we'll also send you emails that contain your JCPenney CashPass Rewards points balance, any CashPasses you earn and other information about your Rewards account. Please note that by participating in the JCPenney Rewards program, you agree to receive promotional offers and updates from JCPenney Rewards, JCPenney and its affiliates and licensees, as well as operational communications about the JCPenney Rewards program. To opt out of promotional emails, please click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of your emails.

If you have a valid email address on file with your JCPenney Rewards profile, you should receive an email from JCPenney Rewards within a week of earning CashPass points and/or receiving a $10 reward. Other emails will tell you about your current CashPass points total and number of $10 CashPass reward certificates. If you're not receiving these emails, please verify that you entered the correct email address in your "Profile Settings" at jcp.com/rewards.

If your email address is correct, your spam email settings may be blocking emails from JCPenney Rewards. Please add jcpenney@e.jcpenney.com to your safe sender list so that your emails will go straight to your inbox. Or follow your Internet service provider's Trusted Sender procedures.

If using a valid JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney Mastercard, you will receive one and one half JCPenney CashPass Rewards points (“point”) for each dollar spent on qualifying purchases made in store or online up to the Point Maximum. For all other forms of payment, you will receive one point for each dollar spent on qualifying purchases made in store or online up to the Point Maximum. The maximum number of CashPass points that you can receive in a single transaction is 2,000 points (“Point Maximum”) regardless of the amount of the qualifying purchase. JCPenney Mastercard® cardmembers also earn CashPass Rewards points when using their JCPenney Mastercard account outside of JCPenney Stores and jcp.com, provided their JCPenney Mastercard account is open and in good standing. Earn 1 CashPass point for every $5 dollars in net purchases (purchases made by you or an authorized user minus returns and adjustments) everywhere Mastercard is accepted (other than JCPenney Stores and jcp.com). CashPass Rewards points will be issued for jcp.com orders (made online or in store) when payment card/account is charged and item(s) have shipped. CashPass Points are earned on the dollar amount of the qualifying purchase after all applicable discounts, offers, coupons and certificates are applied for all methods of payment.

• In Store

  With each purchase at JCPenney stores, simply provide the phone number or email address linked to your JCPenney Rewards account at checkout to ensure earned CashPass points are assigned to your profile.

• Online

  Sign in to your jcp.com account before checking out on jcp.com to earn CashPass points on your purchase. If you use Guest checkout at jcp.com and use a form of payment other than your JCPenney branded credit card, CashPass points will not be issued unless you call 1-800-322-1189. Please have your order confirmation available for reference when you call.

• JCPenney Credit Card Purchases

  Use your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney Mastercard in store or jcp.com and automatically earn CashPass points on qualifying purchases. Purchases with a JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney Mastercard are subject to credit approval.

There is no limit to the number of $10 JCPenney CashPass Rewards that can be earned. Once a Member has 200 points in their Program account, a $10 JCPenney CashPass Reward certificate automatically will be issued ("Reward"), redeemable on eligible JCPenney purchases (some exclusions and restrictions apply; see Reward for details) and 200 points will be deducted from the Program account.

However, the maximum number of points that you can receive in a single transaction is 2,000 points ("Point Maximum"), regardless of the amount of the qualifying purchase.

It takes approximately one day to process and post CashPass points. You should see the points you've earned the day after your qualifying purchase. Please note that points are issued with respect to jcp.com orders (made online or in store) when payment card/account is charged and product has

First, sign in to jcp.com/rewards and check your “Activity History” in “My Rewards” dashboard and double check all the transactions listed on your account. If you did not receive the CashPass points for a recent purchase, click on “Add Missing Points” and enter your receipt details within 15 days of your purchase. Or you can call 1-800-322-1189. Please have your receipt/order confirmation available for reference when you call. Please note that CashPass points are issued with respect to jcp.com orders (made online or in store) when payment card/account is charged and item(s) have shipped.

To verify CashPass points earned with a JCPenney Mastercard outside of JCPenney and jcp.com, please review the account activity and points information on your JCPenney Mastercard billing statement. For questions about this activity, please contact Customer Service at the phone number listed on your billing statement.

• In Store

  Go in store and provide the phone number or email address linked to your jcp.com/rewards account at checkout to access your available CashPass Rewards.

• Online

  Sign in at www.jcp.com/rewards for a quick view of your available CashPass Rewards and points balance. For a more detailed view or to print your CashPass Rewards, select "View Rewards." You can also access your CashPass Rewards in the JCPenney mobile app.

• Email

  If you enrolled in store, online or through our mobile app, or provided your email address on your credit application, you'll be sent an email to the email address you linked to your JCPenney Rewards profile. You'll be able to print your $10 JCPenney CashPass Reward(s) directly from there.

• Mail

  For JCPenney Credit Cardmembers and JCPenney Mastercard Cardmembers (who are not residents of HI), if you did not provide your email address when you applied for your JCPenney Credit Card or have not linked your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney Mastercard to your JCPenney Rewards online profile, you'll receive your $10 JCPenney CashPass Rewards in the form of a postcard or letter mailed to the address we have on record. Residents of HI must have a valid email address on file with their Program account in order to access or receive their $10 JCPenney CashPass Rewards. If you want to receive your Rewards faster, create a jcp.com account.

For your convenience, we may deliver the same $10 JCPenney CashPass Reward to you in multiple ways, for instance in store at checkout and to your email address. However, only one barcode will be associated with each JCPenney CashPass Reward, and that barcode may only be used once. For example, if you access a $10 JCPenney CashPass Reward at checkout and redeem it in store, the redemption voids the barcode displayed in the version of that Reward that was emailed to you.

After you have accrued 200 points, you can expect the following:

• In Store

  You'll be able to apply your $10 JCPenney CashPass Reward(s) to your transaction in store any time after you have received the Reward.

• Online

  You'll be able to view or print your $10 JCPenney CashPass Rewards approximately 24 hours after your account balance has reached 200 points. Or, if you are logged in to your jcp.com account, you can apply your CashPass Rewards directly to your purchase in the shopping bag or at checkout. Please note that points are issued with respect to jcp.com orders (made online or in store) when payment card/account is

  charged

  and item(s) have shipped.

• Email

  You'll be sent an email with your $10 JCPenney CashPass Reward(s) within approximately 24 hours after your account balance has reached 200 points. Please note that points are issued with respect to jcp.com orders (made online or in store) when payment card/account is

  and item(s) have shipped.

• Mail

  You will receive your $10 JCPenney CashPass Rewards approximately 3-4 weeks after you have earned a CashPass Reward if you are a JCPenney Credit Cardmember or JCPenney Mastercard Cardmember and have not linked your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney Mastercard to your jcp.com/rewards account. To receive your CashPass Rewards faster, we recommend signing in jcp.com/rewards, then clicking "My Rewards", then "Link Your JCPenney Credit Card" and following the linking instructions to link your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney Mastercard to that account.

If you haven't received your CashPass Reward within the time frames above, please call 1-800-322-1189.

You should receive an email from JCPenney Rewards within a week of receiving a $10 CashPass Reward if you have a valid email address on file with your jcp.com/rewards account. Other emails will tell you about your current CashPass point total and number of $10 CashPass Rewards certificates. To view your JCPenney Rewards on jcp.com:

• If you already have a Rewards & jcp.com account, you must:
• have created a jcp.com account and enrolled in Rewards; and
• be signed into that jcp.com/rewards to see a quick view of your available Rewards and points

• If you have a jcp.com account but have not enrolled in JCPenney Rewards, you must:
• sign into www.jcp.com and enroll in Rewards;
• once you are enrolled and are signed into jcp.com, you will see a quick view of your available Rewards and points

• If you have enrolled in Rewards in store but do not have a jcp.com account, you must:
• click here or go to www.jcp.com/rewards and follow the instructions; and
• once you have followed all the steps and can sign in then you will see a quick view of your available Rewards and points

• To view your JCPenney Rewards on a JCPenney mobile application, you must:
• if you are linked, sign in to the JCPenney mobile application or go to your Mobile Wallet.
• if you are not linked, go to a desktop and link your accounts by following the steps above for jcp.com.

Provide the phone number or email address linked to your jcp.com/rewards account to have a store associate look up your account and apply your CashPass Rewards to your purchase. You can also bring in your mobile wallet on the JCPenney App, your printed Reward from www.jcp.com/rewards or your e-statement, or your mailed Rewards.
