The Lehigh Valley Health Network's new Find a Location experience was updated to make the UX consistent withFind a Doctor and Find a Career, both of which we updated last year. The new Find a Location has an updated search landing page, results page, and location detail pages. Some new features within this include alert bars on Express Care cards and details pages that show wait times, an updated sub-nav on detail location pages, an hours dropdown, and updated blocks. All of these small updates amalgamate into a clearer, easier user experience that helps users get to what they need, faster. https://lnkd.in/gr4f67kX

Great talk last week about the growing threat of 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 in technology practices, presented by colin gray. Colin presented several examples of dark patterns in use and impacts to the user experience, noting the proliferation of deceptive design, and efforts underway to help identify and prevent this. For more information on the threat of Dark Patterns and work in progress to improve ethical awareness and action in socio-technical practice, check out: https://lnkd.in/gYXB8suC#darkpatterns #uidesign #ethicaldesign #userexperience #ux

Very informative talk by colin gray on #darkpatterns that helped explain more clearly what they are, how they are being used today in ways that negatively impacts the #userexperience, and research he is doing to help bring awareness to the problems presented. This presented a lot of good questions on what is and what is not a dark pattern, especially for considerations with #persuasivedesign to #marketing.

I reached a turning point of Success in my Design Career. And I find this similar with the beloved Ali Abdaal. It's not about communication, networking, or onboarding 100 clients. It's about- Taking a break.A day off from Life.A phone silent Holiday. 8 Months before I was fighting to get clients.I couldn't able to make 100 USD per Month!I was so depressed that I couldn't pitch my services properly.I couldn't publish my work in my portfolio. What I did...I turned my phone off.I scheduled a rainy week and went to feel the thrill of nature.I took a break from everything.I just wanted to feel the green. I wanted to remove all the pains and biasing elements from life!It worked! Not only worked, but magically! After coming back from nature, I resumed my work progress full of concentration, and guess what?I successfully pitched my services to 20 new clients.16 onboarded. And I generated 25X revenue than previous days! Insane!I realized, ↳ A day off from life can reconstruct the path and progress.↳ opens our minds.↳ It creates new ways to think more effectively.↳ It helps to generate 25x or even more revenue. You can't deny it. What do you think? Comment below. Help me spread this message to the community. #Design,#GraphicDesign,#UXDesign,#UI,#Creative#Ai#GenerativeAi#Illustration#linkedIncommunity #letsconnect#cfbr#community#letsconnect #inspiring#creator #help #share #growth #holiday

nuom is here to help you scale mountains.🏔️ A number of years ago we set a new direction, a new strategy, and as part of that we created a new brand for ourselves that felt right for what we do.✅ That’s where the brand name “nuom” comes from. We took a ‘mountain’, and reversed it. Because we take what would be an uphill struggle for clients, and we make it easy, by providing the right expertise, process, and support, to help them achieve their mission. 🚀 If you’d like to know more about how we can help, then DM me 📩 #digitalhealth #healthcare #servicedesign #uxdesign #softwareengineering
