Easy to schedule, they had a same day appt and I was able to book right at 9 am, staff and PA were SO nice, PA was informative and friendly, with great bedside manner and advice. My only opportunity area for this Urgent Care would be to reduce the wait time. It took 40 minutes before I even saw the PA from when I arrived with the 9 am appt. And all together I was there 1 hour and 30 minutes. PA was new and learning the ropes and computer systems, but this waiting time (with an appt) should look to be shortened in the future.

Billed for uralysis test when no urine sample was given or collected. Osmosis??? Physically went to Urgent Care a few days later to inform them of this error. The response was that it was in the computer and nothing could be done. I reiterate, no urine sample was given. Then after I scheduled a test as Urgent Care prescribed, l went for test and was told test could not be done because paper script that Urgent Care gave me had no signature, and I was further informed that test site had, a few days prior to scheduled test, called Urgent Care to obtain a copy of script which was not received. So test site staff then immediately called Urgent Care to obtain script so test could be performed. After I sat at test site for 30+ minutes, test site again called and was told script could not be provided because person needed to sign the script was off that day and probably I should reschedule the test. At this point, being in pain and having fasted all day for test to be performed, and sitting at the test site for over a half an hour, I was furious. I immediately went back to Urgent Care and after making a fuss was provided a signed script. By this time it was too late in the day to have test performed so it was scheduled for a few day later, after my appointment to see my primary care provider. Test was to performed prior to visit to PCP for his review. VERY DISSATISFIED

About Respiratory Allergy Panel Testing

Respiratory Allergy Panel Testing is a comprehensive diagnostic test designed to identify specific allergens that may be triggering respiratory symptoms in individuals. Allergies to airborne substances such as pollen, dust mites, pet dander, and mold spores can lead to respiratory issues, such as sneezing, wheezing, coughing, and nasal congestion. This panel offers an efficient and precise way to pinpoint the triggers, allowing for targeted management and relief.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania, and experience recurring respiratory symptoms without an apparent cause, Respiratory Allergy Panel Testing may be recommended. This test is especially valuable for individuals with a history of allergies, asthma, or a family history of respiratory conditions. Seeking prompt evaluation is essential, as untreated respiratory allergies can lead to more severe respiratory complications.

Symptoms and Conditions to Consider

If you experience any of the following symptoms, it is crucial to consider Respiratory Allergy Panel Testing:

  • Frequent sneezing
  • Persistent nasal congestion
  • Itchy or watery eyes
  • Chronic coughing
  • Wheezing or shortness of breath
  • Skin rashes or hives

What to Expect During the Test

Respiratory Allergy Panel Testing involves a simple blood draw at one of the 16 lab testing centers in Trexlertown. A medical professional will collect a sample, which will then be analyzed for reactions to various common allergens. The results will help your healthcare provider identify the specific triggers causing your respiratory symptoms.

Following the Test

Once the results are available, your healthcare provider will review them with you, explaining which allergens were detected. Based on the findings, a personalized treatment plan will be devised to manage your respiratory allergies effectively. Treatment options may include allergen avoidance strategies, medication, and immunotherapy to desensitize your immune system to specific allergens.

Respiratory Allergy Panel Testing can provide valuable insights into the triggers behind your respiratory symptoms, empowering you to take control of your health and enjoy a better quality of life.
